Viva Verdon Film Premiere: FUGA x UPTRACK

FUGA and Uptrack invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Fuga Space for an evening dedicated to trail running, adventure, and the local landscape.

After traversing countless trails and realizing that the standard race format no longer satisfied their aspirations, Hugo and Maxime, two ultra-trail runners, decided to move beyond pure performance to embrace a freer, more human, and more mindful approach to the sport.

Heading to the Verdon Gorge, they set out to cross the region and connect with the people who bring it to life. Along the way, each encounter reveals a vibrant Verdon, shaped by its natural wealth, ecological challenges, and social realities.

Viva Verdon invites us to slow down, change our perspective, and rethink our relationship with trail running and the landscapes we traverse.

Through the landscapes of the Verdon and the miles covered, the film explores the lives of those who sustain the region and questions our relationship with trail running, nature, and adventure.

Following the screening, the directors, crew members, and featured guests will share behind-the-scenes stories from this adventure—from the initial planning of the journey to the filming process—and discuss the film's origins and their vision for a more human-centric, locally-rooted approach to trail running.
